Tim Krieger was sworn in to serve his second term as State Representative for the 57th Legislative District in January 2011.
During the 2011-12 session, Tim has been appointed to serve on the following House committees: Environmental Resources and Energy, Judiciary, Liquor Control and State Government. He has also been appointed to the House Republican Welfare Reform Policy Development Team.
Tim graduated from Connellsville Area Senior High School in 1979. Upon graduating from Liberty University in 1984 with a degree in mathematics, Tim entered the United States Naval Officer Candidate School where he was named a Distinguished Graduate. Upon receiving his orders to join the fleet, Tim served onboard the USS Pensacola (LSD-38) as an engineering, gunnery and deck officer.
While continuing to serve his country in the United States Naval Reserve, Tim attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, graduating with honors in 1992. After graduation, Tim entered the private practice of law.
Tim resides in Delmont with his wife, Ellie, and their four children: Sarah, Elisabeth, Abigail and Jack. He is a member of AMVETS, Baltzer Meyer Historical Society, Greensburg VFW Post 33, Military Officers Association of America, National Rifle Association, Pioneer Presbyterian Church in America, Ruffed Grouse Society, United States Naval Institute, Westmoreland County Bar Association and the Westmoreland County Historical Society. He is Of Counsel in the law firm of Strassburger, McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky.
